About Us
Monkey Eagle Brewery is a craft beer brewery located in Tagaytay City, Philippines. Our goal is simple; to create world-class beers made by Filipinos, dedicated to Filipinos, yet enjoyed by all.
Established in 2014, we started out with a 50-liter brewery system set-up in the home of one of our brewmasters. After a year of testing various recipes and honing our craft, we further armed ourselves with a formal education in brewing from Siebel Institute in Chicago and Doemens Academy in Germany. To further gain knowledge about the industry, we also traveled to different breweries in America, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic and Belgium to observe and learn the different beer brewing practices in these countries.
Gaining enough knowledge and experience from our studies and travels, the 15-hectoliter brewery in Tagaytay was built in 2016; outfitted with the best German-made brewing equipment. Since then, Monkey Eagle Brewery has been producing craft beers of the highest quality, using the finest ingredients while ensuring the best sanitation practices in brewing. Committed to produce tasteful beers that only pass these strict standards, we only labels beers that have been selected from hundreds of recipes that we continuously develop.
Meet the Team
Rich & Sam handle the marketing, sales and operations in Manila while Noreen & Rocky are our brewmasters and handle the brewery operations in Tagaytay.
Monshort (Jack Russell), Hiro (Dachshund), Martini (German Shepherd) and Porter (Labrador) keep the brewery safe.
